A financial services professional, Edward Solter began his career as a branch manager and vice president of an Austin, Texas, mortgage company in 1989, where he worked for three years. Since that time, Edward Solter has worked for a number of other mortgage companies in various roles, including loan officer and president.

Since 2010, Mr. Solter has been the area manager of a mortgage company in Austin. In this role, he oversees branch production and compliance with state and federal regulations. He is also involved with hiring office employees. During his time with this company, he has received numerous awards, including being named to the Chairman’s, Diamond, and President’s Clubs. He has been named the Scottsman Guide Top Originator and ranked in the top 1 percent of mortgage originators by Mortgage Executive Magazine.

Over the course of his more than three-decade career, Mr. Solter has won regional awards for loan origination. With one firm, he closed more than $12 million in residential loans. With another mortgage company, he closed more than 10,000 loan transactions valued at over $1 billion. The Austin Business Journal ranked him as a top loan originator in nine out of 10 years.
